CGEN – Concept General (“CGEN”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the website c93n.com and the CGEN mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it when you use our platform.
By using this site or the CGEN app, you agree to the terms described in this policy.

CGEN is a private AI-powered intelligence workspace for entrepreneurs, founders, and researchers. The platform provides three AI-powered engines: the Intelligence Engine (business intelligence reports), the Idea Validator (structured idea validation), and the Concept Generator (opportunity concept generation). All engines are powered by live web search combined with AI analysis. CGEN is operated by an independent private entrepreneur and is not a registered company.
Who Uses CGEN
CGEN serves four types of users:
Visitors — users who access the engines without registering, via the website or the CGEN app. Visitors may use the Intelligence Engine and Idea Validator. All content generated by visitors is automatically published to the public CGEN Archives. Visitors should not enter confidential, proprietary, or sensitive information into any engine input.
Subscribers — registered users who have not made the one-time Pro payment. They have access to their Private Lab and can save their generated content privately, but their access to the engines remains at the Visitor level: the Intelligence Engine and Idea Validator only.
Members (Pro) — registered users who have completed the one-time Pro payment. Members have a Private Lab and generate content privately across the Intelligence Engine, Idea Validator, and Concept Generator. Nothing generated by a Member is published without their explicit choice to make it public. Members own their generated content and control its visibility at all times. The first 100 registered users receive Pro access for life at no additional charge.
Premium Members — registered users with full access to all three engines at the highest usage level. Premium is available to registered users only, not to visitors, as a paid monthly or annual subscription. See Pricing & Payments below for full details.
What We Collect
Engine Inputs
When you use any of the CGEN engines, you provide text inputs relevant to your query — such as a business name, industry, idea description, or target audience. These inputs are sent to our backend server (hosted on Render.com) and processed by:
- Claude AI by Anthropic (anthropic.com) — for AI analysis and content generation
- Live web search — to retrieve current, publicly available information relevant to your query
We do not store raw engine inputs beyond what is necessary to generate and save your output. Inputs are not used to train AI models.
Generated Content
Visitor-generated content is automatically saved and published to the CGEN Archives. This is by design. The archives is a public record of intelligence reports, idea validations, and concepts generated through the platform. Do not enter confidential, proprietary, or personally sensitive information if you are using the platform as a visitor.
Registered User-generated content is saved privately to their My Lab account as a draft. It remains private and unpublished unless they explicitly choose to make it public using the Make Public function. Members may also delete their private drafts at any time by contacting us at cgen@c93n.com.
Account Information
When you register, we collect your email address and a display name. This information is used solely to create and manage your account.
We do not collect or store your payment card details directly. Subscriptions and one-time purchases made through the CGEN app are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), with purchase validation managed through RevenueCat. Payments for downloadable PDF reports on our website are processed by PayPal. In each case, your payment information is handled by the provider, not by CGEN. See Third-Party Services below.
Usage Data & Generation Counts
We track the number of generations per session for visitor and member usage purposes. On the website, this uses browser-based local storage. On the CGEN mobile app, this uses device local storage (AsyncStorage). These counts are used solely to apply the correct generation limits and paywall logic per user tier and do not identify you personally.
Ratings
If you submit a star rating for a generated report, we collect the rating value, the engine used, and your user ID (for registered users). This data is stored in our platform database and used to improve the quality of the engines.
We also display an aggregate rating count publicly on our website (for example, a total number of ratings received). This public figure is anonymous and combined — it never identifies you, your individual rating, or the report you rated.
Contact Form
If you contact us through our contact form or by email, we collect the information you choose to provide — such as your name, email address, and message — solely to respond to your enquiry.
Cookies & Analytics
Our website uses cookies for essential functionality and analytics, including:
- Maintaining basic site performance
- Language preferences (via GTranslator)
- WordPress session and account management
- Website usage analytics (via Google Analytics)
Google Analytics collects anonymised data about how visitors interact with our website — including pages visited, time spent on site, geographic region, and device type. This data is used solely to understand how the site is being used and to improve the experience for visitors. Google Analytics does not collect personal identification information.
You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking at any time using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, available at: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
The CGEN mobile app does not use browser cookies. Local storage on the app is used only for session management and generation count tracking as described above.
We do not use cookies or local storage to track you across other websites or applications or for advertising purposes.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Pricing & Payments
CGEN operates on a tiered access model:
Visitors receive one free generation per engine on the Intelligence Engine and Idea Validator. All visitor-generated content is published automatically to the public CGEN Archives. To generate privately, visitors are encouraged to register.
Subscribers are registered users who have not made the Pro payment. Registration is free. Subscribers receive a Private Lab to store their generated content, with engine access at the Visitor level — the Intelligence Engine and Idea Validator. To unlock the Concept Generator and higher usage, Subscribers can upgrade to Pro.
Members (Pro) have completed a one-time payment of $24.99. Members receive three generations per engine per month across all three engines — the Intelligence Engine, Idea Validator, and Concept Generator. Member-generated content is stored privately in their Lab until the member chooses to publish it. The first 100 registered users receive Pro access for life at no charge.
Premium Members receive all Pro benefits, including the Private Lab and all three engines, at the highest usage level — three generations per engine per day. Premium is available to registered users only, at $6.99 per month or $69.99 per year.
The CGEN app is free to download. In-app purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) and Google (Google Play). Payments for PDF report downloads on our website are processed by PayPal. CGEN does not store your payment card details.
Current pricing is always displayed at the point of use on the platform. Prices may change. Registered users will be notified of any pricing changes in advance.

The Public Archive
All visitor-generated content is published automatically to the CGEN public archive, organised into three categories: Market Research (Intelligence Reports), Idea Validation, and Concept Draft. This content is publicly visible and searchable.
Member-generated content only appears in the public archive if the member explicitly chooses to publish it using the Make Public function in their My Lab account.
If you are a subject of a published report and believe it contains an inaccuracy or requires correction, please contact us at cgen@c93n.com.
Data Retention
- Visitor-generated content is retained indefinitely as part of the public archive
- Member draft content is retained for as long as the member account remains active
- Account information is retained for as long as your membership is active
- Generation count data stored on your device is retained locally until you uninstall the app or clear app data
- Rating data is retained indefinitely as part of platform improvement records
- Contact form messages are retained only as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry
- Google Analytics data is retained in accordance with Google’s standard data retention policies
- Payment transaction records are retained by PayPal in accordance with their policies
We do not retain personal data beyond what is necessary for the purposes described above.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Request access to personal data we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of your personal data
- Request removal of published content where you are the subject and the content is inaccurate
- Object to how we process your data
- Opt out of analytics tracking (see Cookies & Analytics above)
- Request deletion of your account and associated private content

Children’s Privacy
CGEN is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at cgen@c93n.com and we will take steps to delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the platform evolves. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date at the top. Continued use of the platform or the CGEN app following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
