How It Works

1 — Intelligence Engine

Know the market
before you move.

Mode A
Market Research
Research a business or app that already exists. You fill in three fields, in this order:
01 · Business or App Name. The exact name of the business, app or brand you want to know about, e.g. Notion, Duolingo or Revolut. This is what the engine researches.
02 · Industry. Pick it from the list, or type your own. It gives the engine the market to look at, so it compares the business with the right competitors.
03 · What specifically interests you? (optional) One topic you want covered in more depth, e.g. their funding model, user growth or competitive positioning. Leave it empty for a balanced report.
Works best on established apps, games, businesses or companies. Newer or lesser-known ones may not yet have enough information on the web for a useful report.
Mode B
Idea Validation
Test an idea of your own before you put time or money into it. You fill in three fields, in this order:
01 · Describe your idea. What it is, who it’s for and how it works, in a few sentences, e.g. an app that connects freelance dog walkers with pet owners in real time. The clearer it is, the better the engine can find who already does something similar.
02 · Industry. The sector or market your idea belongs to. Pick it from the list, or type your own. It tells the engine where to look for existing solutions.
03 · Location (optional). Only for a physical business, such as a store, restaurant, gallery or clinic: a country, city or postal code. The engine then checks the area and its zoning. Leave it blank for an online or digital idea.

2 — Concept Generator

Four inputs.
Three concepts. One landing page draft.

01

Answer Four Inputs

Two are required (your industry or field, and your direction); the other two are optional.

  • Your chosen industry or field — pick it from the list, or type your own. This is where the engine does its research.
  • About you (optional) — a few words on your work, your skills or what you enjoy. It’s used only to keep the concepts realistic for you, never as their theme.
  • Your direction (required) — your goal (side income, full-time business or scalable startup) and type (online, local or either). They shape the size and form of the concepts.
  • Frustration & Specification (optional) — a niche inside your industry (e.g. DJs inside Music & Arts), a problem to solve, or limits like budget or time. Or leave it open and let the engine surprise you.

02

The Engine Maps the Market

It researches real businesses in your chosen industry or field and what people say they’re missing, then settles on the blind spot: the single strongest gap no one is solving.

03

Three Concept Directions

You get three concepts, A, B and C: three different angles on that one gap, such as a different customer, business model or product. Pick the one that speaks to you.

Tip: the three short concepts aren’t saved. Take a screenshot if you want to keep them all.

04

Your Full Landing-Page Draft

The engine writes a full landing-page draft for the concept you picked, from the opening and the problem to the solution, the benefits and name ideas.

It’s saved privately to your Lab, where you can download it as a PDF or go on to Find a Builder.

You can also ask one follow-up question about it. The answer can draw on fresh web research and lists the sources it used.

Concept Generator is designed to support early-stage ideation, creative exploration and strategic thinking.
